Dr. Eaton is a 1997 graduate of The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She was named the Outstanding Recent Graduate in 1999 from the Ohio Veterinarian Medical Association. Dr. Eaton has worked in countless veterinary clinics throughout Ohio and West Virginia. She worked tirelessly to fulfill her dream of opening her own small animal veterinary clinic. Dr. Eaton and her husband, Max, have a daughter, Madeline. Their “extended” family consists of four dogs, Wilson, Lacey, Sydney, and Libby.
Dr. Hayes is a 1993 graduate of The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She decided to become a veterinarian at the very early age of five and has continued to love caring for animals and learning more to advance her medical knowledge. Dr. Hayes has worked in several veterinary clinics and emergency hospitals throughout Ohio. She lives with her husband, two children, two dogs and a bird.
Dr. Millward joins the Animal Hospital of Polaris with extensive experience in Veterinary Biosciences as well as exotic animal care. Laurie was previously employed as a full-time postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Veterinary Biosciences at the Ohio State University. Additionally, Laurie continues to work for the Capital Area Humane Society where she spends her time handling cruelty cases, population medicine issues and focusing on exotic animal medicine and surgery. Dr. Millward obtained her undergraduate degree in Zoology from Miami University and then pursued her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at the Ohio State University. In addition to caring for the many canine and feline friends that visit our clinic, Laurie is extremely passionate about rabbit husbandry, rabbit medicine and rabbit surgery so it is not uncommon for you to see her cuddling her favorite furry friend, Rocky the bunny!
Dr. Tsai is a 2003 graduate of Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine. Her passion for animals and animal welfare is what lead her to become a veterinarian. She stated that she liked working at Animal Hospital of Polaris because “AHOP provides the excellent standard of care that I have come to expect after years of practicing medicine. Our staff provides excellent care for our patients by having the animals’ best interests as a priority and by empathizing with the pets’ needs.” Dr. Tsai lives with her husband, their son and their four cats.
Dr. Jan Schrier is a Michigan native whose first career was as a Nurse prior to her pursuit of a degree in Veterinary Medicine. Jan attended The Ohio State University and graduated in 1993 with her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. Prior to joining the Animal Hospital of Polaris in 2009, Dr. Shrier worked at three small animal clinics and performed relief veterinary work as well. In addition to her gentle spirit and strong intellect, Jan brings a wealth of knowledge from her 17 years as a veterinarian in Central Ohio. Jan resides in Upper Arlington with her husband and son. Their family also consists of two dogs and a cat.
