She graduated from the College of Pennsylvania College of Veterinary Drugs in 1987, then accomplished a Large Animal Surgery Internship at Cornell University in 1988, and a Residency in Large Animal Inner Drugs at College of Pennsylvania College of Veterinary Medicine in 1990.
